We welcome dogs on leads in our bar area so please advise us when booking if you require a table in the dog friendly area.
We have dog treats & water bowls to keep your dog refreshed after a lovely walk around the castle and along the shoreline!

FUNERAL WAKES
The Cormorant Pub is close to Portchester Crematorium and local churches, and we are often a chosen venue to hold funeral wakes.
You can host a wake in a reserved area of the pub for 10-50 people. We offer a buffet service at £12.95 per head which includes a selection of freshly made sandwiches, savoury bites, and cakes with tea and coffee.

ABOUT US
We are a local family run pub with a friendly, dedicated team.
We take pride in home-cooked, quality food and Cask Marque Award Ales.
We are situated in the historic village of Portchester in the shadows of Portchester Castle and St.Mary's church. There are some beautiful walks nearby to enjoy around the castle and along the Portchester shoreline.
We welcome families and as owners of dogs ourselves we are pleased to offer a dog friendly pub allowing them anywhere in the lower bar area and in our outside seating area.
We are a pub that supports local suppliers as much as we can for produce, our meat comes from Starr Butchers in Emsworth, M&J Seafood provides our fish from Farnham,
The Fruit Basket in Gosport for fruit & vegetables, Medina from the Isle of Wight for a range of local produce and ice-cream from the New Forest.
We offer a range of local ales to support some of the smaller ale brewers.
